Hamdeok Beach

Hamdeok beach is a popular destination, especially in the summer, where you can go swimming in the clear water. With its white sand and blue sea, it’s definitely worth a visit, even in the cold weather. Because it’s so big, there are different parts of it that you can explore. There is a cafe that overlooks the water too.

The palm trees really make us feel like we’re on a tropical island.

Near Hamdeok beach is also a camping ground. You can rent a camping car, or pitch your own tent for free. How beautiful it is, to be outdoors and have the ocean just a walk away!

The second beach to make the list is Gimnyeong beach. The white sand beckons you to take off your shoes and walk along the clear water.DSC04336

For the adventurous, it’s a great place to go paraboarding.

Last but not least is Woljeongri Beach. As you stroll along the white sand beach, you can see the powerful windmills in the distant. When you would like to take a moment to breathe in the ocean air, you can sit in one of the chairs facing the water or enjoy a cup of coffee in one of the coffee shops nearby.
