August is packed with festivals to celebrate the summer!
(1) Seogwipo Night Festival (August 3 to 9)
Where: Pyoseon Haevichi Beach
What: DJ and Indie bands perform every night from 7:30pm to 10:00pm. Bands include South Carnival, GoGoStar, and Dear Island. Dance party starts at 9:20pm.

(2) Yerae Ecological Village Experience Festival (August 6 – 7)
Where: 213 Yerae-ro, Seogwipo, Jeju (제주특별자치도 서귀포시 예래로 213 (하예동))
What: Ecological programs include catching fish, observing firefly larvae, and making soap. Interesting programs include making a bamboo water gun, kayaking, belly dancing, and sing language performance. Other activities include a singing contest, face-painting, nail art, dying with tangerine peels, and more.

(3) Jeju International Wind Ensemble Festival (August 6 – 16)
Where: Jeju Culture & Art Center, Jeju Seaside Arts Center, Seogwipo Cheonjiyeon Falls Outdoor Stage, Jeju Students Cultural Center, Seogwipo Arts Center, Lee Joongseuop-ro Open Air Theater, Jeju KBS Hall
What: Enjoy a variety of classical music by different bands, symphonies, and orchestras performing around Jeju.
