Expat’s Night with Talk & Music ramps up this Saturday

An important note on Jeju’s updated bus system and this blog post

From August 2017, Jeju Island implemented a new city and intercity bus system. It increased the number of buses in service, while simplifying the routes, fees and numbering system.

Consequently, the contents of this previously published blog post may have changed. We therefore would kindly request that you consult this page for new bus maps in English on VisitJeju.net,  and this page on our blog for a chart of the old and new bus route numbers.

If you read Korean, then the province’s official bus system website is a useful and up-to-date resource. We hope you’ll enjoy your travels on Jeju Island!

Arirang Radio and the JTO are co-hosting an “Expat’s Night with Talk & Music” this Saturday, Nov. 12. Some 300 non-Korean residents of Jeju Island are invited to participate.

The MC for the evening will be Sam Carter, host of Arirang’s “Super K-Pop” show.

Among the performers for the evening, The Barberettes, Huckleberry Finn, Cho Hyung Woo, and others will be in attendance. Expat musicians who live on Jeju Island will also be performing.

Please note that seating is first-come, first-served.

Date/Time: Nov. 12 (Saturday) from 6 p.m.

Location: Jeju National Museum, Main Hall

How to get there: There are plenty of buses which run near or by the museum. For example, buses 10, 14, 24, 27, 38, 100, 200, etc. The bus stop name is Gounimoru.
