Well, it’s been months in the making but the Jeju Tourism Organization opened its new tourist information website, VisitJeju.net, on Dec. 27.
This is a great new way to explore all that Jeju has to offer, from nature excursions, to museums, restaurants, accommodations, and much more.
We offer information in four languages, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, and English. The site is also mobile friendly, so you can take it with you and have all your travel info at your fingertips.
If you’re planning a trip to Jeju, you can also register with us using your Facebook, Twitter or Instagram accounts and then save all your important travel destinations and other travel plans on the site.
There are also ideas for travel itineraries – 1, 2, even 5 day excursions – all for your convenience. It’s like your own personal Jeju travel agent, and it’s free!
One of the features I like best relates to one of our most requested topics: public transportation information.
Now you can access the entire island’s city and intercity bus system. You can also select and display on that map a wide variety of tourism destinations, free Wi-Fi spots, parking, shopping, hospitals and more.
We’re still adding a lot of functionality to the site and working out some of the kinks, but rest assured the database will keep growing as we keep expanding and updating it in 2017 and beyond.
We hope you’ll find the site very useful and we hope to see you in the New Year!
