Exciting news... Details of this year’s upcoming Jeju Winter Festival Though all the materials will be published in English early next week, here’s a quick rundown of what to expect at this year’s much-anticipated Jeju Winter Festival. Details and a map: www.visitjeju.net/u/3kI Highlights: - It will be held from Dec. 21 (Sat.) to Jan. 19, 2020. As usual, there is no admission fee. - This year it will be held up on Hallasan Mountain at the Eorimok trailhead and Heritage Center. - Weatherwise, we’re expecting more snow than average. - You can try the curling and Euro bungee, among other activities. The Bonte Museum is celebrating its 7th anniversary with a James Turrell exhibition This amazing exhibition of the “Magician of Light” James Turrell’s work is being held to commemorate the Bonte’s 7th anniversary. It is in Gallery 5 of the museum. More information: www.visitjeju.net/u/3ij Dates: Through Dec. 31, 2019 Hours: Daily 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. James Turrell is an American artist primarily associated with the Light and Space movement of the 1960s. The work “Orca, Blue” which is exhibited at the Museum, is from his early work.
