An important note on Jeju’s updated bus system and this blog post
From August 2017, Jeju Island implemented a new city and intercity bus system. It increased the number of buses in service, while simplifying the routes, fees and numbering system.
Consequently, the contents of this previously published blog post may have changed. We therefore would kindly request that you consult this page for new bus maps in English on VisitJeju.net, and this page on our blog for a chart of the old and new bus route numbers.
If you read Korean, then the province’s official bus system website is a useful and up-to-date resource. We hope you’ll enjoy your travels on Jeju Island!
Jeju is the one and only place where tropical and polar plants co-exist. There are also many old-growth forests that still remain intact. That is why forests in Jeju are marvelous and beautiful. If you want to recover from fatigue and tiredness away from your busy life, walk along the pathways of Jeju forests and feel the clean air as the trees and flowers breathe out.
Let’s take a closer look at Jeju’s forests. You can also find more information on what to do and see while here by consulting VisitJeju.net.
Theme 2: Jeju Trails (Geo-trails, Olle-gil Trails, Forest Paths)
Seogwipo Natural Recreation Forest
Seogwipo Natural Recreation Forest is the best rest area where the dense forest naturally blends in with clean water and air. The recreation forest is also easy to find since it is located near Jeju Jungmun Resort. You can enjoy the majestic view of Hallasan and the broad Jungmun Resort at the observatory of the forest at a glance. There is a clean valley in the recreation forest and thickly wooded trails where even the sky is blocked out. There are also various amenities that help you to comfortably enjoy the forest and make the place the perfect healing course.
