[Visit Jeju Island] When is a color not a color? When it’s a flower!

On Jeju right now, the colors blue, purple, yellow have transformed into wonderful fields of hydrangea, lavender, and sunflowers!

Here are some photographs from the weekend at locations all over the island (click on the links for maps that are at the bottom of those pages). These include:

The central eastern area of Boromwat at Beonyeong-ro, Pyoseon-myeon for lavender and hydrangeas

The southeast area around Wimi, Namwon-eup

The southwest of the island at Sanbangsan Mountain for more hydrangea

And Let’s Run Farm (not far to the east of Jeju City) for sunflowers

Did you know?

The official provincial flower of Jeju Island is the Rhododendron or Jindallae (진달래) in Korean.
