Of Korea’s 10 major international arts festivals, Jeju’s is the newest and (dare we say) most youthful of the biennales. It’s certainly something to be experienced.
And since we have until December 3rd, there’s plenty of time and opportunity to plan ahead and see all the international artists (an estimated 70 percent of the works are getting their first viewing here) and visit all the great festival venues around Jeju Island (including the Jeju Museum of Art, the Jeju Museum of Contemporary Art, Altteureu Airfield, the old neighborhoods of Jeju and Seogwipo cities, and more)!
It’s all here at the Biennale site: http://www.jejubiennale.com/en_info.php
(And don’t forget, there’s a 50 percent discount for Jeju residents, so bring your ARC card with you!)
