[Visit Jeju Island] Don’t forget the abalone & octopus with your shabu-shabu

Shabu-shabu is a traditional Japanese meal consisting of thinly sliced meat (beef, pork, even chicken) and a variety of fresh vegetables (cabbage, onion, garlic, beans, seaweed) boiled in water or a broth. Since it’s not fried, it’s very healthy and light. One spot in Jeju City that is new, large and well-run is Sharak in Shin Jeju. Here you can add abalone and octopus, as well!

Sharak (샤락)
3F 35 Gukgi-ro, Jeju City
Hours: Daily 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. (Last order: 9 p.m.)
