[Visit Jeju Island] A windy weekend with an interesting backstory

This weekend we had some oddly cool weather for early April. But it was also very windy, which is much less odd. In fact, it’s one of Jeju Island’s Samda “three plenties” (wind, rocks and women). These marigolds were cowering behind a traditional Jeju stone wall, which for centuries has protected Jeju’s people and crops from the strong ocean wind.
