Though Duruduru, located in the Yeon-dong area of Jeju City, has a name that hints at duruchigi, or spicy stir-fried pork, it actually serves stewed fish. The main ingredient, the filefish or triggerfish, is more commonly known to Koreans as jwipo, a kind of fish jerky snack. In a stew, though, this fish takes on a remarkably different flavor and texture.
