The very popular with locals Neongkulhanul Garden is what you might call an authentic Korean restaurant. The hours and menu are geared to a specific clientele and you might be sitting at a table outdoors elbow-to-elbow with strangers.

The more expensive side is boiled duck with rice and sumac at 60,000 won (serves the table) while the individual duck soup, and boiled chicken soup offerings are between 10,000 and 13,000 won.

Notes: If you don’t arrive before noon you will have to wait. It’s a relatively remote location and parking can be difficult. But you’ll probably find it worth it!

Hours: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Take out is available until 5 p.m.) Closed Sundays.
