A living part of Jeju’s traditions and culture: Seongeup Folk Village


Seongeup Folk Village (Important Folk Resource No. 188) is a place where cultural properties like traditional low-roofed, thatched houses, winding stone fences and windbreaks, and many Jeju dolhareubang stone statues, among others, are preserved and protected. Intangible cultural properties, including Jeju’s native foods, its handicrafts, language, music, etc., all practised by knowledgeable locals. Come spend a day to learn about — and appreciate — Jeju culture.
