As of April 28th, Jeju Island has had a total of 13 COVID-19 cases. Six are currently being treated at Jeju National University Hospital. Forty-three people are undergoing medical observation and 7 people who came into contact with some of the 13 island cases are in self-quarantine. Some 376 people are in self-quarantine after arriving/returning from overseas. There have been no COVID-19 deaths on Jeju Island.
Mainland Korea, meanwhile, has had 10,752 confirmed COVID-19 infections and recorded 244 deaths, according to the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
