Ginseng chicken soup (samgye tang) is a traditional favorite that is as medicinal as it is delicious. A whole young chicken is stuffed with ginseng, garlic, and sweet rice. It is then boiled until the meat can be easily pulled from the bone. Eating hot food on hot days is thought to cool you down while also boosting your energy. How about giving it a try?
