Although it’s highly unlikely you’ll be traveling to Jeju with a pet, anyone who loves animals might be interested in going to one of the island’s pet-friendly cafes. We have profiled three here. All require mask use, of course, in this time of COVID-19.
Cafe BB
Address: 83 Seonsa-ro 8-gil, Jeju-si (제주시 선사로 8길 83)
Hours: Daily from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. / Closed on the first and third Tuesdays

Inside this pink-colored cafe, which is a cafe where you can accompany your dog, not a dog cafe, there is a dog playground. Collars are required.
Cafe Chichi Forest
Address: 2nd floor, 165 Nokgome-gil, Aewol-eup, Jeju-si (제주시 애월읍 녹고메길 165 2층)
Hours: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. / Closed Wednesdays

This cafe’s mascots are large but gentle. There is an outdoor area marked as a dog companion zone (bring a leash and a doggy-doo bag). Enjoy the beautiful surrounding scenery.
Bongseong Prima
Address: 4086 Bongseong-ri, Aewol-eup, Jeju-si (제주시 애월읍 봉성리 4086)
Hours: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. / Closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays

This is a cafe renovated from an old citrus warehouse. Dogs are welcome, but please use a leash and please monitor your pets for any bathroom “accidents”.
Please note: During the COVID-19 pandemic, traveling to Jeju is problematic. We would, however, like to highlight some of the island’s attractions here and we sincerely hope you will visit Jeju once it is safe to do so.
