Important note: This video was filmed by Ajumunnie in 2019, prior to the COVID-19 situation on Jeju Island and mandatory mask use. We are posting this info to help you with ideas when planning an upcoming trip to Jeju when conditions are appropriate.
Hello, everyone. Following our last video titled “What to Eat in Jeju Island: 10 Special Foods to Try,” we’re back with another video introducing Jeju cuisine by JTO creator Ajumunnie!
If you’re a lover of Korean food, Jeju has some really unique dishes that you really can’t find anywhere else in Korea.
Yes, the rest of Korea has pork, but they don’t have Jeju black pork.
And yes, Koreans love to eat seafood, but nobody does mulhoe (raw seafood soup – trust me, it tastes better than it sounds) like they do here.
If food is your thing, or if Jeju is your thing, or if you are a hungry traveler on the go, I’ll see you in the video!
Please note: During the COVID-19 pandemic, traveling to Jeju is problematic. In the meantime, we are highlighting some of the island’s attractions. We sincerely hope you will visit Jeju once it is safe to do so.
