In the spirit of Jeju Island’s UNESCO-recognized volcanic origins, the Jeju Tourism Organization is holding an outdoor media art exhibition titled: “Healing Media Net Art” along Sanjicheon Stream in downtown Jeju City.
Every evening through Sept. 26, visitors can stroll underneath this colorful net installation with a 15-meter-tall center—representing Hallasan Mountain—and eight adjacent volcanic cones, known as “oreum.”
Seasonal images expressed in music, video, and lighting effects make for perfect photo opportunities as you immerse yourself in the healing spirit of the island’s natural beauty.
Sanjicheon Stream also has a pleasant park and promenade to explore in the cool September evening air. In the area is Dongmun Traditional Market and the start of Olle Walking Trail No. 18.
