Jeju’s not a desert island, nor is it deserted. But it’s often relatively devoid of people, especially during the off-season. This video was taken at Geumneung Beach, where there is a large public campground (with showers and public washrooms). In summer it’s packed, but before then it’s possible to find yourself without immediate neighbors, much like the one captured here. Copy and paste this link for more info on the beach and map: http://www.visitjeju.net/en/tourView.jto?menuCd=DOM_000001816003000000&langCd=EN&areaId=CONT_000000000500079 And if you’d like to go camping…. http://www.visitjeju.net/en/tourView.jto?menuCd=DOM_000001822008000000&langCd=EN&areaId=CNTS_000000000022342 Visitjeju.net #visitjeju #Jeju #Island #Korea #Geumneung #Beach #camping #camper #tenting #grammablejeju #제주도 #비짓제주 #금능해변 #캠핑 #캠핑장

[Visit Jeju Island] Rural scenes and seasonal surprises Even with a population of about 600,000, Jeju Island’s urban areas are not that concentrated. It’s a pleasure to live near working farms, simply because it keeps us mindful of the seasons and how life flourishes here in cycles. My bet is that not too many city dwellers can identify this particular crop (the photo was taken this morning). Any guesses? Leave a comment and I’ll post another photo with the answer later in the day. Visitjeju.net #visitjeju #rural #life #grammablejeju #제주도 #비짓제주 #시골 #농장

This restaurant has some great stand-alone meals in addition to its beer and alcohol side dishes. I haven’t been yet, but people I trust say it’s great. Just note, it’s a “no kids” zone, so this is just for adult friends and family. Enjoy!
